Your Next Sensor Should Solve Problems.
Not Create Them.

High prices, software headaches, and unexpected replacement bills shouldn’t come with your next sensor. Here’s how Apex tackles six common frustrations that dental practices face.

One smarter sensor solution: high-quality imaging at an affordable price, compatibility with major imaging software, direct U.S.-based support, and optional protection for the unexpected.

The problemHow Apex solves it

High sensor prices eating into your budget

Solved

Buy directly from Apex, with sensors starting at $3,995. Get high-resolution dental imaging without the middleman markup, and keep more of your budget available for your practice.

Needing a new sensor, not new software

Solved

Apex works with most major imaging software, including DEXIS, Eaglesoft, and VixWin. We help confirm compatibility with your setup so you can keep the software your team already knows.

Wondering if a lower price means lower image quality

Solved

A lower price shouldn’t mean a leap of faith. Apex delivers clear, high-resolution X-rays. Explore actual Apex sample images and judge the detail for yourself before you decide.

Extra costs just to connect your sensor

Solved

Your Apex sensor includes its TWAIN connection driver at no extra charge. We help you check your software’s integration requirements before you buy, so you know what your setup needs.

Getting the sale, then getting the runaround

Solved

Work directly with a U.S.-based support team that knows Apex sensors. From remote installation to troubleshooting, you have a clear place to turn when your team needs answers.

One broken sensor. Another big expense.

Solved

Accidents happen. Optional SensorCare protection plans provide repair and replacement benefits for covered damage. Know your coverage and replacement costs before an unexpected problem becomes an unexpected bill.

Clear answers.
A confident choice.

Know how Apex fits your software, your budget, and your team before you decide.

Can I switch sensors without changing my imaging software?

A new sensor doesn’t have to mean learning a new software system. Apex works with major imaging platforms, including supported versions of DEXIS, Eaglesoft, and VixWin. We’ll confirm your software version and connection method before you order, so you know how Apex will fit into the workflow your team already knows.

Why does Apex cost less than many major brands?

We keep overhead down and sell directly to dental practices. Rather than building a traditional sales-rep model into your price, we focus on delivering value directly to your office. Compare our sample X-rays, software compatibility, and support options to see what you’re getting for your investment, not just what you’re saving.

Can I see the image quality before I decide?

Yes. See the images before you make the investment. Explore our sample Apex X-rays and view them at full size to examine the detail for yourself. You can also request a video demo to take a closer look at the imaging workflow. Your next sensor should be a decision you feel confident about, not a leap of faith.

What will I actually pay to rent an Apex sensor?

Start with the full picture, not just the monthly price. Sensor-only rental is $99 per month for either size. One-time enrollment is $1,495 for Size 1 and $495 for Size 2. Including enrollment, the first 12 months total $2,683 for Size 1 or $1,683 for Size 2. The plan has a one-year minimum, then continues month-to-month. Taxes, shipping, optional software, and other applicable charges are additional. Review the Club agreement for cancellation and return terms.

What happens if my sensor breaks or gets damaged?

Know your protection before you need it. Sensor Club includes one eligible physical-damage replacement per sensor with no sensor replacement charge. Subsequent damage replacements may cost $1,495 under the Club agreement.

Purchased sensors include a two-year limited warranty for manufacturing defects. Accidental damage is separate, with optional SensorCare plans offering additional protection and plan-specific replacement costs.

Will my team get help with setup and ongoing support?

You won’t have to figure out setup alone. Our team provides remote installation and training to help your staff get started. Sensor Club includes unlimited support and training. Purchased sensors include 30 days of complimentary technical support and training, with paid support options available afterward. Live assistance is available during our published support hours.

Which sensor size is right for my patients?

The right fit matters to your patients and the team positioning the sensor. Apex offers Size 1 and Size 2, both with a slim, 5.3 mm profile. Size 1 has a smaller overall footprint, while Size 2 provides a larger imaging area. We’ll help you compare dimensions and positioning needs so you can choose around your everyday patients and procedures.

Should I rent, buy, or add a backup sensor?

Choose how you pay around how your practice works. Renting lowers your upfront sensor investment. Purchasing starts at $3,995 and gives you ownership without an ongoing sensor rental payment. Either option can help you replace an aging sensor, equip another room, or add a backup. Compare total costs and coverage side by side. Rental payments do not automatically transfer ownership.
